Volunteer Opportunities

Get Involved in the Agile and Non-Profit Community!

One of my business’s core values is to: “Serve with Authentic Empathy” and I do not take such a pledge lightly. The only way our society continues to keep moving forward is in the service and benefit of others inside and outside of our Agile community. Therefore I try to use the time, energy, and resources I have to serve the community in a few different ways.

See below some of the ways you can join me and volunteer/donate to some great organizations!

Agile Careers: Co-Founder

Jess Brock and I started the Agile Careers non-profit in 2023 with some amazing sponsors, industry leaders, recruiters, and volunteers to serve those looking to become the next Agile leaders of tomorrow. Our events have placed dozens of new Agilists into the roles of their dreams, expanded access to resources and programs for training, and over 10K+ in prizes were given out to those working to transform themselves in this industry.

Join us in our mission to help others learn, share, and grow this community!

In 2022 I joined up with Leslie Morse and became a co-host for the Women in Agile podcast, since then I have been promoted to the Program Director and Production Manager for the Women in Agile podcast, marketing, and communications team. The stories of the Women in Agile not only inspire me each and every day, but getting those stories and the wisdom this community provides out into the world is one of the activities I take the most pride in in my volunteer work.

If you are a Women in Agile and want your story heard, reach out to me to learn more about the recording process at podcast@womeninagile.org. Or click any of the links below to get involved in the Women in Agile community!

Trevor Project

Each year my company makes a donation to the Trevor Project during Pride month. LGBTQ issues and issues surrounding belonging at work are near and dear to my heart. One of their core messages is that “You deserve a welcoming, loving world” and I couldn't agree more. I feel it is the role of every Agilist to support our teams, businesses, and products to be more inclusive and equitable for all people.

Consider donating with me this year to support and enable safe spaces for all marginalized groups within and outside of our community!
